Fall is a natural time of shedding, dropping away the told to prepare for rejuvenation in the months to come. You may be feeling called to release the things that you have been holding on to all Summer — expectations, beliefs, ideas — whatever is no longer serving it’s purpose. Join Myriad Yoga for a restorative Yoga Nidra session to help your body move from a time of action to a time of letting go. Allow yourself to reap the benefits of all that you have put forth this year.
This season’s Yoga Nidra will be FREE to all Myriad Members, no matter your Membership, in honor of Member Appreciation Week!
What to expect during Yoga Nidra:
- Utilize provided yoga props to set yourself up in a comfortable + restorative position
- Soothing guided meditation to help you relax the body + mind through body scans and visualizations
- A safe, quiet space to self-reflect and allow yourself to let go
- Leave feeling refreshed + renewed
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a gentle way to move into a deep state of rest. Different than meditation, Yoga Nidra actually encourages a sleep-state, a place of deep healing- where mind and body are at rest, but consciousness is awake. Yoga Nidra can help reduce anxiety, build immunity, reduce effects of stress, and it can help you gain more restful sleep cycles.
