ACCOUNTABILITY

Making it to class is no small feat.

Coach Jared and Coach Marta introduce the topic of routines and scheduling, with Marta sharing her fitness and yoga background.
The question?
How do you balance multiple commitments and still get your fitness in?

The nuts and bolts:
1. Set a goal: I want to get stronger, I want to get faster, or I want to do both.

2. Set your priorities for the week based on that goal: I need to run twice this week and take one yoga class.

3. Take time on Sunday, or first thing Monday to set your weekly schedule: Put these on the calendar so your family and staff know that you are prioritizing this for yourself.

4. Put classes on your calendar and stick to them.
*Pro Tip: Sign into Chalk It Pro and take a sneak peak at the workouts for the week. This will allow you to set your class attendance priorities for the week based on your individual goals. Example> If Tuesday and Friday are heavy lifting days and you are working on building strength as an overall goal… then prioritize these classes as “musts” for the week.

5. Tell a friend or classmate what classes you plan to go to: This can help build that accountability needed because you know if you “no show” you will be chastised by your friend.
