BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND — Myriad is hosting it’s biannual HYROX Sim Race this coming May, brought to you by Tinker Coffee! We are so excited to bring this exciting event back for the third time!

What is HYROX?

HYROX is the global fitness phenomenon that is taking over! The race involves eight different movements with a 1K run between each. Movements are low weight, low skill, and challenge your cardio endurance, capacity and determination. It is the global fitness race for everyone.

The HYROX event itself is a thrilling challenge, testing strength, speed, agility, and endurance through a set of demanding physical tasks 💪🏼 It’s an excellent opportunity for those who love the spirit of competition and teamwork.

How does the race work?

Our Spring Simulation Race will be run similarly to a standard HYROX Race. Athletes will begin with a 1000 m run followed by the 8 HYROX movements, with a 1000 m run between each movement. We will host both a SINGLES and DOUBLES race on Saturday. Divisions for male, female, mixed and age (as needed) will be included. The 8 HYROX movements are as follows:

  • 1000 m Ski erg
  • 50 m Sled Push
  • 50 m Sled Pull
  • 80 m Broad Jump Burpees
  • 1000 m Rowing
  • 200 m Kettle Bell Farmer’s Carry
  • 100 m Sandbag Lunges
  • 100 Wall Balls
I have never done HYROX before, can I participate?

Yes! You can absolutely join if this is your first race. In fact, a local competition is an excellent way to prepare yourself before signing up for an official HYROX Race. Divisions will be held for male and female, and age divisions will be added as well. To make the race even more accessible, you may run this race as a team of two (DOUBLES) dividing all of the work during the race while taking the run together, or you may take on the challenge alone as an individual (SINGLES). 🚨PLUS – Myriad is hosting their popular and proven HYROX 6-week training series to help you prepare for the big day! HYROX 6-Week Training Series | Begins September 15th

Learn the movements of HYROX, train in community, build accountability, and feel confident at your first (or next!) HYROX race! Whether you aim to challenge yourself in the next HYROX competition or simply participate in our HYROX series to stay active and healthy, there’s a place for you here.

What to Included:
  • 6-Weeks of training
  • TWO – 60-minute long training classes per week
  • ONE at-home running workout programmed per week
  • Complimentary access to Myriad’s weekly Thursday HYROX classes

When are the Sessions?

The series runs every Monday and Friday from April 6th through May 13th. Morning and evening sessions will be available. Morning sessions run 5:00 – 6:00 am and evening sessions run 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
