“For Time” with Myriad – Episode #113
Meet Paige Wind: MYRIAD’s Newest Team Member
There’s a new face at Myriad!
Episode 113 of For Time with Myriad introduces Paige Wind: personal trainer, runner, artist, former college lacrosse player, one-time member of a USA Lacrosse national team. Oh, and she has a 100-mile trail race on the calendar for October. Just a casual Tuesday kind of person.
From the Lacrosse Field to the Starting Line
Paige grew up in Indianapolis, playing basketball and lacrosse at Carmel and Lawrence Central before going on to play center in lacrosse at the collegiate level. After college, she had a stint on a USA Lacrosse national team that took her to the Czech Republic and Germany.
After lacrosse, Paige found her way to running. Casually at first, then seriously, and then very seriously. This past year she launched the Mass Ave Run Club, one of Indianapolis’s most accessible free run communities, and trained herself up to the ultra marathon distance. Her next race: a 100-mile trail run in October.
Mass Ave Run Club — Free, No Sign-Up, Open to Everyone
Paige’s Mass Ave Run Club meets Monday through Friday at 7:30 AM and 9:00 PM near the Dancing Ann statue on Mass Ave in Indianapolis. It’s completely free, there’s no registration, and you’ll find Paige there in the orange glasses. Runs range from 2 to 6 miles depending on the day; sometimes a steady group run, sometimes intervals down at Monument Circle.
If you’ve been looking for a run community in Indianapolis, this is one of the most low-barrier, high-energy options in the city. Just show up.
The Brain Behind the Athlete
What makes Paige stand out beyond the athletic résumé is the why behind her passion for fitness. She’s deeply interested in neuroscience — specifically the connection between bilateral movement (running, rowing, anything left-right-left-right) and brain function. She’s seen firsthand how consistent running has changed her decision-making, her mental clarity, and her overall wellbeing. For Paige, fitness isn’t just physical. It’s neurological.
She’s also a working artist — painting with bold colors and latex house paint, experimenting with stained glass and woodworking, creating work designed to make the viewer feel something personal rather than explaining something literal. The art and the athleticism are more connected than they might seem.
What Paige Is Doing at Myriad Fitness
Paige is currently in her training period; observing classes, learning Myriad’s coaching framework, and building her presence on the floor. She came in a little intimidated by the CrossFit programming, stepped into her first class, used the Level Method to find her footing, and walked out more confident than she walked in. That’s exactly how it’s supposed to work.
Her primary focus right now is personal training and one-on-one coaching working with members individually on their goals, movement, and programming. She’ll be building her client roster and is available for personal training inquiries now.
She’s also especially fired up about HYROX. She’s already completed two HYROX classes at Myriad, is learning the coaching side of the sport, and has her eye on competing herself.
Interested in Training with Paige?
If you’re a runner looking for structured coaching, someone interested in personal training, or an athlete wanting to get into HYROX, Paige is the right person to talk to. She’s currently taking on new clients and would love to connect.
Say hi when you see her on the floor. Ask about the 100-miler. Ask about the art. And if you want to talk bilateral stimulation and neuroscience at 6 AM, she is absolutely here for it.
Welcome to the team, Paige. 🏃♀️🎨
