HYROX at the Stutz: Everything You Need to Know About Myriad’s Fall Simulation

“For Time” with Myriad – Episode #119

YouTube video

Two laps around the Stutz Building. One thousand meters (give or take three, according to our very precise pacing-off). Eight stations, a whole lot of sweat, and a crowd of friends and family cheering you on from three feet away. That’s a Myriad HYROX Simulation, and on Saturday, October 24th, we’re running it for the fourth time.

If you’ve never heard us talk about this before: the Myriad HYROX Simulation is the full-distance, full-weight race we host every spring and fall, and it’s the closest thing to a real HYROX you’ll find in Indianapolis. We built the course south to north through our building so you run in one door and run out the other. It sounds simple. It is not simple. It is, however, a blast.

What makes ours different from other local HYROX races? Space, honestly. We’ve got 12,000 square feet of open box, a layout that just flows, and none of the “deer in headlights” energy you get shoulder-to-shoulder with a few thousand strangers in a convention center that you’ll find at official HYROX races. Whether this is your first HYROX ever or your tenth, the vibe here is the same: supportive, a little chaotic, and genuinely fun to watch for all.

And people are noticing. Less than a third of our registrants this time are even Myriad members. Folks are driving in from other gyms and other cities to race with us. Our last sim pulled in around 120 people. We’re already past 100 registered for this one and expect to blow past that number, which means yes, we will eventually cap registration. If you’ve been sitting on the fence, now’s the moment to SIGN UP.

This round’s lineup of sponsors is stacked, too. Athletic Annex and SweatHouz are back. SweatHouz is bringing the cold plunges again, so bring your courage (and your swimsuit). 👙🌊👙
Herculean Meal Prep and LRX Apparel are both throwing in prizes, MyoFit and Tinker Coffee are keeping you fueled, Integrated Health Solutions and Cryotherapy have prizes on deck, Leslie McNeely is covering snacks, and House of Light (formerly LLE Media) is offering race-day photo packages so you have proof of the badass thing you just did.

Want to volunteer instead of race, or in addition to it? Volunteers race for free in exchange for a few hours of help setup, judging, or teardown, plus you get one of our famously coveted yellow volunteer shirts. A call for volunteers is going out this week.

Haven’t signed up yet? Don’t let “I’m not fast enough” or “I’ve never done one” hold you back as this race is built for every level, from first-timers to five-time veterans. Email us at info@myriadfit.com if you want to register, pair up with a teammate, or just have questions about training. We’ve got classes Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, plus a 6-week race prep course that runs straight into race day.

See you at the Stutz soon!
