Summer is a time of activity, heat, and constant movement. It can be hard to find the time to relax and just let your mind be quiet. Join Myriad Yoga for a restorative Yoga Nidra session to help your body move from a time of action to a time of letting go. Allow yourself to reap the benefits of all that you have put forth this year.
What to expect during Yoga Nidra:
- Utilize provided yoga props to set yourself up in a comfortable + restorative position
- Soothing guided meditation to help you relax the body + mind through body scans and visualizations
- A safe, quiet space to self-reflect and allow yourself to let go
- Leave feeling refreshed + renewed
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a gentle way to move into a deep state of rest. Different than meditation, Yoga Nidra actually encourages a sleep-state, a place of deep healing- where mind and body are at rest, but consciousness is awake. Yoga Nidra can help reduce anxiety, build immunity, reduce effects of stress, and it can help you gain more restful sleep cycles.
