Join our masterful coach Jason Woodnick for a 4 week, 8 class series on high level gymnastics movements! Jason is the current Vice President for USA Men’s gymnastics and was a four-time USA Gymnastics All-American gymnast at James Madison University during his own gymnastics career. Anna Rode will serve as the assistant coach for this series. She has nearly two decades of fitness coaching under her belt as well as competitive CrossFit experience where she put her high level gymnastics skills to work. Her gymnastics coaching background includes courses from CrossFit Gymnastics and i99Fit.
This course will begin on January 27th and run every Thursday (from 7:30-8:30pm) and Sunday (from 11:30am-12:30pm) for four weeks. The entire series (8 classes) is $200 or you can purchase one week (2 classes) for $60. See the focus and prerequisites for each week below.
Week 1: Handstands – Pushups, Walking, Dips
- Prerequisites: Can get upside down (can kick up and hold a handstand for :30 on the wall)
Week 2: Toes 2 Bar/Rope Climb
- Prerequisites: Can dead hang for :30 comfortably
Week 3: Pull Ups/Bar Muscle Ups
- Prerequisites: 3-5 kipping pull ups, 3-5 strict pull ups
Week 4: Pull Ups/Bar & Ring Muscle Ups
- Prerequisites: 3-5 kipping pull ups, 3-5 strict pull ups
