An afternoon to explore ourselves in the season of Spring. Through asana and pranayama we will practice rooting down into the nurtured soil as we grow upwardly towards the light. The practice of polarities is to keep bringing ourselves into the middle. There will be focus on the Yang energy and the Wood Element in the five element theory. Elson M. Haas says it so well “The wood element refers to living, growing entities: trees, plants and the human body.” Nature continues it’s patterns around us and we are of Great Nature. With yoga we will work on elevating and expanding our experience to take on the heat of the Summer. This class format is somewhere between a workshop and a flow class where you will find a little bit of all things that make a well-rounded practice.
