Barbell Bonanza Ladder – 20 Minute Challenge Men- Starting Weight is 135# Women- Starting Weight is 95# 1 Deadlift 1 Hang Power Clean 1 Chest to Overhead Explanation – In order you must deadlift the weight to your hanging position, then power clean the weight to your rack position (chest), and finally get the bar from your chest to overhead in a locked out controlled fashion (Push Jerk, Push Press, Press, Split Jerk). Must be completed in this order for each movement at each weight (3 distinct movements). Rules- You have 20 minutes to get to your max load without missing an increment. Weights must go up in a 5# increment (2.5# plates on each side for a total of 5# increase). You can take as much time needed between sets, however, when 20 minutes is up, you are done! If you reach a weight in which you are maxed out and can no longer continue to increase by a 5# increment, you are done! POST- Weighted Pull Ups. ]]>

205lbs with 14 reps and 0 misses
My last rep was very ugly because I had to set my bar and do the rep in 30 seconds…it was actually comical…fun workout though…felt good doing that weight…wanted to keep going
103lbs with 17 reps and 4 misses
I missed on 108lbs but was happy with what I got. I need to work on getting under the bar more when I’m lifting that much weight.
Worked up to 215, need to work on my Hang Clean Technique at higher weight. Missed 205 and 215 once, but got them on my second attempt. Failed at 220.
105lbs on the max pull up.
Failed miserably at this one. Mind knows what to do, but can’t seem to get body to follow. Dead Lift technique-good. Hang Power Clean-way to much back bending. Only reached 70lbs. Many misses. Much to work on for me.
115 with 1 miss….i got 115 once but it was kinda sloppy so i tried again and failed then kept failing. need to get under the bar on my clean
Was able to do 78 lbs up to my chest.. but couldn’t quite get it from there to over my head. Only 73 lbs for that. It’s a start!
Oh.. And I did some double unders. YAY
