Practice Indie Reopens June 1st

It’s time to get back together (insert Parent Trap “yeah yeah yeah”) in person. We are doing so, however, very deliberately and mindfully in a phased approach. We’ll make changes, as they are appropriate, every two weeks barring the progress of our community and the nation with the virus. We are also keeping virtual options as we understand that coming back in person is not safe or the best choice at this time. See below for the in person schedule. Virtual classes will continue to happen in all time slots that are not in person. We will NOT be videoing the in person classes to protect your privacy.Shower facilities and hands on adjustments will be discontinued at this time.Doors will be propped open 10 minutes before and after class. Please come on time, don’t congregate in areas and plan to keep your stuff with you.Classes have been reduced in size (10 people per class) and intensity since the first two weeks we are requiring masks. Please be mindful and take it easy as practicing in a mask is challenging.If 2 weeks pass without illness, we will consider adding one more class per day to the in-person schedule. We will traverse the summer with this 2 week phased approach. Teachers and students will be required to wear masks. Classes will be capped at 10 people per class. Spaces will be taped off on the studio floors to ensure social distancing. Studio props will not be offered and studio mats will not be available for rent. We will be selling clean, used mats and props at a highly discounted rate to make this more accessible. An extensive cleaning protocol will take place daily following in person classes. Pre-registration will be required for all in person classes to ensure a “no touch” sign in process. No payment will be taken at the studio. We have discontinued the use of our cubbies, so please keep your stuff in your car or with you and if you bring a cell phone, please turn it off once you set your mat down.

We will activate a waitlist for all in person classes. For the first two weeks there will be no penalties if you ‘no show’ however we ask that you cancel your attendance as soon as possible so that others might be able to get in class.

Here’s a list of our schedule in person v. virtual offerings. We will not be recording the in person classes to respect the privacy of our clients. We will continue to upload all classes to our members only facebook group.


*styles and levels have changed to reflect low prop availability + decreased intensity to offset practicing with a mask (which is challenging). If you are unsure if you are able to practice with a mask, try doing so virtually first prior to coming in person.
