NEW CLASS beginning Friday, May 17th — Parent + Baby Yoga!!!

What could be cuter than time on your yoga mat with your toddler or baby? Parent + Baby Yoga is a casual 45-min class meant to provide time for parents to move and breathe with their babies alongside. This judgement free class won’t bat an eye if you arrive to class a few minutes late, or need to step away a bit early. Our class encourages parents to carve out time for their practice, while allowing the space to tend to your baby when needed. Crying, fussing, laughing — it’s all a part of the joyful experience of Parent + Baby Yoga. Let this class be a reminder that it is OK to take just three breaths, giving yourself space, before managing your baby’s needs.

This class may also be suitable for small toddlers who can playfully practice yoga with their parents. We will practice simple poses and movements together that emphasize stretch, mobility and stability. This class removes complex transitions and postures so that we can simply focus on being present with our children and creating space to move.

Please bring with you anything your baby might require to be more comfortable: blankets, toys, snacks etc. At times we may engage with our babies as we move (holding lifting, hugging), but if baby is not into it, they are welcome to sit, sleep or play next to you as you practice.

Who: Any parent with their small baby or toddler (while this is not a prenatal specific class, pregnant mothers are also welcome to join)
