“The Stutz” Update #3: May 2023

This is part #3 of an ongoing series of blog posts to keep our staff, members, and community “in the know” on what is happening with Myriad’s impending move into The Stutz.

Permits! Permits! Permits!
We have successfully received the State Construction Design Release (CDR) and we are still waiting on the City Release.  (Side note: if anyone works with the city or knows anyone in this department in which they could speed up our permitting process, we’d greatly appreciate it! 😀)

GOOD news.  As soon as we get the city release, we can hit the ground running.

BETTER news. We’ve been told that our buildout should only take 8-10 weeks which is much shorter than we originally anticipated.

BEST news. The signs are up at the Stutz Building which makes this even more real! Feel free to walk around the building and also pop in to take a look around.

That’s a good looking sign! Home to CrossFit, Weightlifting, and Bootcamp.
YES! Looks pretty cool to see Myriad Yoga on the sign… especially next to our friends at Grounded Plant and Floral Co.

We are also looking to connect with local artist(s) to give the exterior a new flair for when we officially move. The goal is to use the East exterior for way-finding and branding of the Myriad logos and to use the West exterior wall to grab the attention of the community with some activations painted on the wall… more to come on that later. We are working on getting connected with GangGang to begin discussions on what that could look like. If you are reading this and have other potential ideas/thoughts/artist(s), please reach out to me directly at jared@myriadfit.com.

Save the Date – Stutz Grand Opening

STUTZ BLOCK PARTY & OPEN HOUSE

Join us at the Stutz on Sunday, May 21 from 12-8pm!

This event is extra special because we’re welcoming new tenants to the building. Come see what they have to offer and enjoy an afternoon of fun, food, and community.

The party is the perfect opportunity to explore The Stutz and to learn more about the creative businesses that call it home. Wander through the new courtyard, discover new work from talented artists and makers, and enjoy good drinks and bites along the way.

But that’s not all; we’ll also have live music, interactive games, open artist studios, a car show, and fun for all ages. Bring the whole family and enjoy the festivities as we celebrate our vibrant community.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with neighbors and discover the best of The Stutz. See you there!
