Monday: week 6 of our 8 week strength cycle today as we get back to 3s on bench press. Last big heavy day before we test our maxes in two weeks! We will close the day out with a long chipper mixing in bodyweight and weightlifting movements throughout. Strength: 3-3-3-3-3 Bench Press – the goal is to improve upon what you did in week 3 Tuesday: getting our day started with accessory work for the core, shoulder stability, and single leg strength. We will then move into a longer workout with a bit of cardio and high level gymnastics thrown in. Wednesday: squat day for our strength cycle this week followed by an AMRAP full of light barbell work for a fun and spicy workout! Strength: 3-3-3-3-3 Back Squat Thursday: starting our Thursday with a rotating EMOM full of skill and mobility work. We will finish the day out with a tough couplet pairing a high level weightlifting movement with high level gymnastics. Friday: last days of 3s for the strength cycle! We will finish our work week off with a workout pairing isometric holds and jump roping. Strength: 3-3-3-3-3 Deadlift Saturday: getting the weekend going with a skill warm up working on adding some weight to some typical bodyweight movements. We will close out the week with a team workout with a pacer on a piece of cardio equipment while the other teammates accumulate reps on some strongman work. Have a fun and fit week!]]>
