"Fight Gone Bad" – Learning How to Judge!

“FIGHT GONE BAD” Wall-ball (20/14) 10 ft target Sumo deadlift high-pull (75/55) Box Jump (20/16) Push-press (75/55) Row (Calories) The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.   IMPORTANT:  Besides learning the workout, today you will be taught how to judge a workout in preparation for the CrossFit Open that we will be hosting at CFNT next Saturday afternoon with competitive heats.  (more details on that later).  You will learn how to judge a person’s range of motion, count for them properly, and “No Rep” any movement that does not meet the specific standards for that movement.]]>

  1. Ahhhhh yes….. It all comes full circle!! I walked into CFNT for my very first time and this was my 1st WOD ever… We did it Tabata Style which took 20 mins… The rower was my last station and by the time I got there I didn’t know where I was!!! GREAT TIMES!!! It’s awesome to see how far we have all come together in just 3 short months!!! C u all @ 9:30 🙂 🙂

  2. Did 178 reps, first time doing this workout. It was fun getting practice in coaching too. My partner, Kelly, did a great job, she got better each round…Good job Kelly! This was a great cap on my three weeks of crossfit so far! Moving up to 3X a week now!!

  3. 215 reps……35lbs for the push press, my goal is 55 🙂
….I’m smiling because this was my first Saturday, and I survived!

  4. why was this workout soo hard?? didnt feel so great at this one. it was my first time, did it as rx’d. got 213. it was fun to be in the competitive atmosphere and to have a judge by your side. looking forward to the open……i think 🙂

  5. didn’t get to do this today, but the best I have ever done is 408 reps.
Learned a lot about the squat and dead lift today. Hit a personal best of a 473 pound sumo style dead lift.

  6. I got 181 reps rx’d and that was pretty discouraging to me… I really let my mind win and took breaks when I didn’t necessarily need to.
