Do you know where your food comes from? Are you craving a unique bonding experience with your NapTown family? A chicken round-up is exactly what it sounds like – Team NapTown is working together to catch anywhere from 600-1000 chickens over the course of two days. This is FREE to attend, but advanced notice of participation is required for food counts.
Partners and children are welcome – we’re hoping to find 20 participants for each day! If you’re interested and able to join, please email info@myriadfit.com and include how many will be attending, as well as which date(s) you’ll be joining us for.
Date Options: Tuesday, July 14th and/or Tuesday, July 21st
Timing (same for both days):
- 6:15pm – Depart Downtown at 6:15pm (roughly 40 minute drive)
- 7:00pm – Chicken Round-Up Begins
- 8:00pm (or conclusion of Round-Up) – Food Provided
Location: Tyner Pond Farm
7408 E 200 S
Greenfield, Indiana 46140
What to wear: Long pants, t-shirt, and old tennis shoes (to be totally upfront, you will almost positively step in chicken poop)
Note: We realize this type of outing is not for everyone – and we certainly respect that! This process is a part of the natural food system, and it can be extremely impactful to see exactly where your chicken nuggets come from.
