Mark your calenders — Myriad will be collecting donations in honor of Black History Month during all three Move classes on Sunday, February 26. How does this work? All three classes (8, 9 + 10 am) will be donation-based (free or donate what you can). Myriad will be collecting donations for GangGang — an organization that “activates the creative economy to center beauty, equity + culture in cities. We do this by finding new ways to appreciate + financially support creatives of all kinds, with a focus toward those whose work has historically been exploited. Our teams push boundaries + challenge mindsets with creative vision, shifting the way our audiences view each other + the world around us through unmatched design, ingenuity +execution. GANGGANG is a first-of-its-kind group that focuses purely + solely on culture + bringing the energy, shared benefits + creators within the industry to the forefront.” Donations can be made in cash or directly to GangGang. We encourage you to bring friends + family to this community event.
**Why GangGang? A fun + exciting tidbit is that our new space features much of GangGang’s previous work such as the “Keepers of Culture” mural seen on 11th Street.
