CrossFit Weekly Programming Preview : 8/12/19-8/18/19

Monday: starting the week off with a goodbye workout designed by our very own Eric Bruynseels before he takes off to Colorado. The start of the day will be a skill and mobility focused piece before getting into a “cardio mountain” triplet. Tuesday: start the day out with strength work in the form of a one rep max test in a movement we do not test all that often. We will move on to a quick series of AMRAP intervals to close out the day with some intensity. Wednesday: taking on our benchmark workout mid-week with a test seen at the 2019 CrossFit Games. It is full of high skill gymnastics so we will spend the first portion of the day going over scales and building to these tough movements. Thursday: back to the barbell for the start of the day with a strength complex for your Olympic lifting. Your workout will feature a heavy barbell and explosive work in a couplet format. Friday: getting into an AMRAP for quality to start the day out with lots of single arm/single side work to ensure our imbalances are staying in check and our bodies are injury-free! We will close the day out with a tough ski erg sprint and dumbbell interval pairing. Saturday: kicking off the weekend with a pair of partner pieces. The first used as a warm up to get you ready for the workout of the day. We will get our run on today with plenty of squats thrown in as well! Have a fun and fit week!]]>
