Monday: the 2019 Open was only a few short months ago but the Open for the 2020 season is right around the corner as we venture into the new CrossFit Games season with the Open in the fall. We will be retesting an Open workout from earlier this Spring that pairs a barbell with bodyweight movements and will be sure to get your heart rate going. We will close out the day with light accessory work to help you recover and be ready for a week of fitness. Tuesday: starting the day with a bit of bro session strength work with higher reps than we are used to in this strength movement. We will move into another CrossFit Games test, this time from the Games portion of the season rather than the Open. You will face a triple in a chipper fashion with cardio, weightlifting, and gymnastics. Wednesday: after a few tough days to start the week off, we will begin our Wednesday with weightlifting technique work that can remain light if you are feeling beat up. Your workout features a jump rope and a fun core movement in a quick interval scheme. Thursday: back to strength work to start the day, this time focusing on speed as we incorporate the bands. You will close out the day with a nasty leg burner workout with just your body and the bike that will have a strict time cap to see how far you can get. Friday: closing out the work week with a benchmark lady that puts you outside on the pavement along with some weightlifting and gymnastics. You will preface that workout with bit of unilateral work to keep you strong and balanced. Saturday: getting into the weekend with a bit of agility work before taking on a fun couplet designed by Kendra in a hybrid class as we host a level 1 at 922 downtown. Have a fun and fit week!]]>
