With a continuously running clock do one (movement entered here) the first minute, two (movement entered here) the second minute, three (movement entered here) the third minute… continuing as long as you are able. *Use as many sets each minute as needed. **Number of minutes completed equals your score.

Here’s the deal…

There will be a group supporting the Pride Parade that will only be a few blocks from CFNT on the morning of June 9th.  This will be tons of fun but will also create logistical issues for classes at 9:30am and 10:30am.  So we are going to be cancelling the AM classes and will be running CrossFit for Hope heats beginning at NOON.  We want all to participate and enjoy the camaraderie as well as raise awareness and collect donations for a good cause.  This will run very similar to the CrossFit Open Competitive Heats (if you are unfamiliar, many members will tell you how awesome it is to be put in a situation where you are pushing yourself harder than you thought you could). Please email Coach Jared at jared@crossfitnaptown.com to RSVP your participation in CrossFit for Hope. (you can suggest a time but be advised that I may have to adjust)

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU… Email Coach Jared at: jared@crossfitnaptown.com to RSVP that you would like to take part in CrossFit for Hope with a suggested heat time.  I will attempt to accommodate as much as possible but be advised that I’m working with many people. NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE OR PAY TO ENTER A HEAT.  It is open to all members to join in the fun and post the best score you can on the “Hope” workout.  This afternoon session will take the place of the AM classes.   On that day be sure to arrive a few minutes early to warm yourself up appropriately. Indianapolis Indians @7pm

We will be going as a gym to the Indians game on Saturday, June 9th as well.  Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance with Coach Martin.  Email him at:  martin@crossfitnaptown.com. Tickets need to be purchased by Thursday, June 7th. We will be meeting at the gym and walking to the stadium from there to enjoy a good time out.    ]]>

  1. Questions on the death by day, what weight for the thrusters? Is their any order in the movements you do, say thruster the 1st min, TTB the 2nd, and box jumps the 3rd, then on the 4th min do you go back to thrusters and go back through the cycle? I’m probably just missing something,but thanks for any info.

    1. Thruster weight =
      DB (45/35)
      **BB (95/65) Only use Barbell if you don’t have Dumbbells.** Substitute
      So you do each movement separate. Where you start does not matter. So you can start on the DB Thrusters… reach as far as you can go, right down your score (If you reach the 14:00 and finish all 15 reps then your score is 15 – which we are counting as the Max during class today)
      Then take a minute rest and move to the next station which would be Box Jumps… Complete the Death by Box Jumps, then take a minute break and go to Toes 2 Bar.
      So in the end you will have 3 completely separate scores. Its essentially 3 WODs in one.
      Hence Josh’s scoring system above.

    13 + 7 box jumps <– on the 24" box! 🙂
    7 (modified) T2B but I THINK I'm finally starting to get the hang of kipping & T2B
    7 + 6 (?) thrusters @ 20# <– feeling good I made it this far
    What a fun workout!
