    1. Hey,
I looked for you in Wal Mart to apologize for running past you 🙂 Erica was in line and I had to run to the back of the store to look at a light bulb… Anyways I kept telling Erica that I felt like a total jerk for flying past you and not stopping to say hello longer… So, my apologies friend!

      1. no need to apologize!! sometimes ya just gotta get in & out of walmart as fast as you can…at least that’s what i do! i hate going there but i LOVE the savings. i have yet to officially meet your lovely bride by the way. maybe we can arrange something outside of walmart!

  4. Wow… I’m still hurting badly after the Filthy Fifty!! That was awesome!
Sidenote- Food is in and week 3 of Artie’s Paleo OnTheGo is under way… Thanks again for being such an amazing community of friends.

  5. Thrusters: worked up to 63# <– that's about 30# more than I've ever done!
WOD: 9:11 with a 25# bar and green (and eventually green + white) band(s) for pull ups.
By the way, does anyone else lose the feeling in their thumb when they do OHS? I'm guessing I'm doing something wonky with my grip?

    1. Kate,
It’s probably something with your grip. Are you holding on to the hook grip the entire time? You may want to release that at the top if you aren’t already.

    2. Kate,
I would ask Jared or Peter to look at your positioning during your OHS. I have had that happen to me in the past (Actually my whole arm would go numb). If it only occurs while doing OHS, you are probably impinging a nerve like I was. I have listened to Jared and Peter explain the way they like the OHS and they do a great job. Positional Correction was the solution to my numbness, so maybe they can look at your OHS and make some positional adjustments.

    3. Kate- Are you holding a hook grip in the overhead position? (as Josh pointed out)
If yes… then DO NOT! You should release the hook grip as you begin to rep out OHS.
If you are not using the hook grip and still have numbness issues, then we will talk more in depth.
