CrossFit Deep Dive returns to Myriad on Wednesday, June 26th.

Do you want to get STRONG in the powerlifting movements? Powerlifting focuses on absolute strength and focuses on finding maximal weight in the following lifts:

  • Squat
  • Bench Press
  • Deadlift

Created in the 1970’s, the Conjugate Method has developed some of the fastest and strongest athletes in the world. This system is still used today by athletes in Track & Field, Wrestling, MMA, Football, and Baseball (just to name a few!).

The Conjugate Method is a weekly strength and conditioning training system that decreases physical weakness. It switches through different exercises and physical effort levels to ensure you continuously get as strong and athletic as necessary for whatever objective you set.

Its success relies on a training hierarchy that constantly rotates stimulus and intensities to increase positive changes to your physical health while reducing injury risk.

Here’s what to expect in this month’s CrossFit Deep Dive:
  • – A deep focus on developing strength using the maximal effort method and the dynamic effort method
  • – A sample session where athletes get to run through a traditional Westside class
  • – Space to ask questions and learn through discussion
  • – Warm up, work up to a maximal effort lift, complete accessories, ab-work, and finisher
